Wednesday, March 24, 2021

There is no secret to happiness, but there is a science to it.

Meet Dr. Gillian Mandich

"I’m a scientist on a mission to help people live their happiest life. I’m a published researcher; the founder of The International Happiness Institute of Health Science Research; a two-time TEDx speaker; and I appear regularly in the media on shows such as The Social, Marilyn Denis, Breakfast Television, and The Morning Show."

In this insightful presentation organized by Mildred Frank, Social Convener of RTOERO District 23 North York, Dr. Gillian Mandich shares her research and findings with 120+ participants in a virtual Zoom presentation.

Dr. Mandich states that research shows regardless of genetics, age, gender and life circumstances it is possible to intentionally increase happiness.

Happiness is an essential ingredient in a life well lived. In addition to making us feel good, studies have found that happiness can improve health, well-being, and longevity. Happiness is not a one-size-fits-all formula, and Dr. Mandich shared with us simple, key practices in a fun, innovative way. Participants left with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to effectively make the rest of their life the best of their life.

We are thankful to Dr. Mandich for allowing us to record her presentation and for sharing her slide deck with us. Open this video recording in Full Screen mode.
